A World Without WishesShe walked the sun-baked streets, the sun above her still as abrasively bright and hot as she remembered it. The sun, however, was the only thing she still recognized.
The streets of her city, once lined with beautiful palaces, gardens and gates, were now surrounded by square, tan, purpose-built buildings, where there wasn't rubble and remains. Once bustling, the streets here were now deserted, and they were covered in some kind of hard, black substance, like tar. The air was also quite silent, no longer bustling with excited chatter and song, just the hot desert zephyr and an occasional, muffled boom in the distance.

The Stone Man
After what felt like both an eternity and a split second, the blur of space began to resolve itself into a more still way, slowing down enough so that I could make out everything better. This meant that I was getting close.
Looking around, a particularly large celestial object caught my attention. A large, mostly blue planet with spots of green and brown land here and there, but one spot was what I was focused on, a large ring of green placed more or less in the middle.

To look at her, Ambrosia seemed like a perfectly sweet and affable pony, like any other pony you might meet. She was a pale green colour, like that of a grassy field in high summer, and she had a short-ish, yet full mane of the deepest blue that fell gracefully about her long, slender neck. She had a kindly, if slightly distant-looking face, her large grey eyes only half-open, as if only half-seeing the world around her.
