This is a drawing I'm working on at the moment. In Scottish folklore, there's a creature called a "glaistig", similar to a faun or satyr. It has the upper body of a beautiful woman, but with the legs of a goat. It tends to wear a green robe or cape, and is often seen near rivers, to lure people to her lair.
This particular one is named Krisnig, a young (318 years old, young in faerie terms) glaistig who is a character in a book I'm writing at the moment. She encounters two children in the woods and she senses a curse on them, but not knowing what it is, she's charged to find out. She has a somewhat embittered attitude, as you can probably tell, but there's a lot about her that she keeps hidden.
Drawn in Corel Painter 11, I'll be colouring it and doing a background very soon. I liked how the inks have turned out so far, though, so I thought it would be cool to put on here in the meantime, especially with how inactive I've been.
