Ron Lynn as a Werewolf

I'm creating a 3D animation called "Last Thoughts of a Wolf Man". The film has two characters. The movie centres around the main character, Ron Lynn, turning into a werewolf. This is how he eventually turns up.

I drew and inked the drawing within 45 minutes. I love how it turned out, but some of the people I showed it to thought it was "unstructural". It is, though; I winged most of it, just drawing a skeletal structure to determine the position of arms and legs, and a simple volume for the body. You'll notice that the perspective is off (his front paws, or hands really, seem to be higher than his feet). As well, his front paws have thumbs, since they're really just human hands.

I drew this in a rush, but now that I've had some time to think about this drawing, I think it looks a lot like one of those old European woodcuts of werewolves; they're usually not that realistic or proportionate, but their medieval irregularity and abstraction makes them frightening. If I ever need to use the drawing for structural reasons, though, like when I eventually have to model it in 3D, I'll need to do this again. I'm sure I'll improve quite a bit before then, though, and you'll be able to see it every step of the way.
